Hosting a session

We know that hosting a session can seem daunting if you haven’t done it before, but it can be a great opportunity to polish your skills and boost your confidence.

The benefits

A friendly and supportive crowd

Our audience is always friendly and supportive, so think of it as a safe space to try something out, share your knowledge or practice presenting to a crowd.

You choose the topic

You can pick any topic related to the field of UX, or even something else that interests you. There are no rules, as long as your session is no more than 20 minutes long.

You can give a talk, run a workshop, crowdsource ideas, encourage a debate, give a demo of a tool, or something else entirely. It’s up to you.

You choose the room

You can pick from 4 rooms of different sizes and grab the time slot that best suits you when you arrive in the morning (it's worth arriving a little early to get first pick).

Session rooms

There are several different spaces that work well for running a workshop, hosting a discussion, or giving a presentation.

Just let us know if you'd like us to provide A4 or A3 paper, marker pens, post-it notes, or dot voting stickers.
