UX Camp Brighton is an ‘unconference’ for people interested in all areas of user experience, from interaction design to information architecture, user research to UX writing, and everything in between. It’s a non-profit event run by volunteers.

The format

UX Camp Brighton is a fun and informal ‘bar camp’ style event. You can choose from 40+ sessions to attend throughout the day, covering an enormous range of topics. There's also plenty of time to socialise and build your UX network.

The venue

UX Camp Brighton 2024 will once again be at PLATF9RM in the heart of Hove.

PLATF9RM Hove is a spacious co-working and event space in the Hove Town Hall building. It’s comfortable, well-equipped, and is just a few minutes from Hove station and the centre of Brighton.

We encourage everyone to host a session at UX Camp Brighton, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro. It’s a great opportunity to test an idea, share your knowledge, or polish your presentation skills.

We’re all about celebrating different voices and opinions in a respectful way. All we ask is that everyone who takes part is considerate and polite to other participants. Some people may not have spoken at an event before, so our collective support and encouragement is especially important.

UX Camp Brighton has been going since 2011, making it the biggest and longest-running 'bar camp' style UX event in the UK.

We're proud to support the grassroots design community and we look forward to welcoming new faces and old friends to our future events.
