The format

UX Camp Brighton is a fun and informal ‘bar camp’ style event.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, you can choose to buy a session host ticket, which gives you a 20 minute slot to present a talk or run a workshop. You can choose any topic you like, and it's up to you to pitch your session on the day to encourage people to attend. Everyone has the option of buying a session host or a attendee ticket, but we encourage everyone to consider hosting, as that's what makes this event work.

What to expect

Multiple sessions to choose from

We run several sessions at the same time in different rooms around the venue. There's a large grid on the wall of the main space showing each session time and location, so you choose which sessions interest you the most.

Choosing your slot

If you've chosen to be a session host, you'll be given a postcard at the start of the day to write down your session name. You can then choose a room and a time slot that suits you best and pop your card into that slot on the grid.

Food, drink... and a quiz!

You'll be well fed and watered throughout the day, with tea, coffee, breakfast pastries, a mezze lunch box, afternoon treats, and beer, wine, soft drinks, and pizza to finish off the day.

Many previous attendees have said the UX Camp Quiz is the highlight of the event. It provides the perfect opportunity to test your knowledge, be creative and share a few laughs with your teammates at the end of the day.
